The KC 230 is the flight computer for the AeroCruz 230 Flight Control System. When this stand-alone unit is paired with the KMC 231 Mode Controller, it keeps the existing form factor of the flight computer for the KFC 150 system — enabling easy installation with no changes to the panel. The two-part design of the AeroCruz 230 allows the KC 230 flight computer to be remote mounted to accommodate KFC 200 and KFC 250 autopilot system at a later time.
The feature-rich touchscreen interface adds Indicated Airspeed Hold (IAS) and Level (LVL) modes, as well as altitude preselect. This display provides additional prompts and cues to indicate what the system will do when various modes are engaged.
