Start Pac's Mobile Lithium-ion aircraft engine starting unit provides fast starts for small to medium sized turbine-powered engines. These light-weight and compact lithium-ion units may also be used to start both turbine and piston engines and are ideal for carrying out in the field.
Start Pac patented technology provides faster and cooler engine starts than most manufacture aircraft batteries which extends engine life and lowers operating costs. Quick-change batteries can be changed in the field in less then a minute without requiring the use of any tools. In addition, certain aircraft will allow onboard recharging of a GPU unit without an AC power source — making this portable engine starting unit virtually maintenance-free.
