China Commercial Aircraft Summit 2010
Why this event
China, the world's most dynamic market for commercial airplanes, is forcasted to require for 3,770 new commercial airplanes valued at $490 billion over the next 20 years.

To compete with Boeing and Airbus and to reduce Chinas reliance on overseas manufacturers, China has planned out its own ARJ regional jet program and C919 large commercial aircraft program, parts and components will be sourced globally, emulating the model adopted by Airbus and Boeing will make CCA 2010 attractive to international aerospace companies looking to win orders for the programme.

China has pledged to develop its domestic aerospace industry in order to reduce reliance on overseas suppliers. All facets of the process, from design and production to sourcing materials and assembly will be done in China. The central government would consider accepting overseas investment in its aerospace industry CAATS would be a superb opportunity for overseas companies to present their strength, standing and commitment to China as a whole.

"Green" technology is now reshaping the landscape of global aerospace manufacuring industry. Advanced composite materials, next-generation engines R&D, supply chain management, is leading us to a new era of a energy-efficient and envionmental friendly aerospace industry.
